Nate Schaub | Principal
After starting out as a writer and graphic designer in the non-profit world, Nate founded Mindflint in 2004 to make top-shelf design and marketing services accessible to everyone with a great story to tell — not just big companies with big budgets.
With the help of a diverse team of like-minded creatives, Mindflint has helped hundreds of organizations, for profit and not, capture the essence of who they are, craft a compelling story, and connect with the people who need to hear it.
Nate lives with his wife and two daughters in Ben Avon, Pennsylvania.
Daniel Hoey | President
Dan started his first company, United Financial Technologies, Inc., in 1992 and sold it and a subsidiary company in 2004 after growing it into a multi-million dollar regional mortgage banking operation. He founded or co-founded three other successful companies between 1996 and 2005.
In the nonprofit sphere, he founded New Community Church in Wexford in 1998, serving as the chairman of the board of elders for the first ten years of the church’s existence. In addition, he served on a number of nonprofit boards, including the Mel Blount Youth Home and Imani Christian Academy, was involved in missions work in India and Africa, and was instrumental in creating a medical clinic in the Bangda-Ligbi region of Ghana.
In 2009, Dan became engulfed in a series of major personal challenges — for more on those challenges and Dan’s recovery from them, read his story here (coming soon). As co-founder and president of Mindflint, Dan brings all of his personal experiences that made him who he is today — successes, failures, and recovery — to spark your success.
His four children range in ages from 17 to 22, and he resides with his one remaining child at home in Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
